Reflective Insulating Large Space Heat-Insulating Anti-Glare Glass

Online single – silver Low – e glass has a special metal silver and metal oxide film coated on the glass surface. Its main features are high visible light transmittance and high infrared heat reflectivity. Moreover, it can be used as a single piece.

Product Structure

Can be used as a single piece.

Glass thickness: 4 – 19mm.

Key Features

  • Production Process Characteristics: Utilises a chemical spray coating process to apply the film layer onto float glass before the annealing stage. The coating consists of semiconductor oxide materials, features a relatively thicker profile, exhibits a slightly elevated surface haze, and delivers natural colour tones with lower colour saturation.
  • Optical Performance: Offers moderate visible light transmittance, with adjustable base hues (e.g., grey, blue-grey) to suit specific requirements. While chromatic diversity is somewhat limited compared to offline-coated products, it effectively reflects near-infrared radiation to reduce solar heat gain during summer while permitting sufficient visible light transmission for maintaining indoor daylighting.
  • Thermal Performance: Provides adequate thermal insulation and energy efficiency, with a U-value superior to standard single-pane glass. However, its emissivity (≤0.25) is marginally higher than that of offline monosilver Low-E glass (≤0.15), resulting in slightly lower thermal resistance. Nonetheless, its performance remains superior to conventional untreated glass.
  • Application Flexibility: Features a stable coating layer that enables direct use as single-pane glass without requiring lamination with additional glass panes. This simplifies installation processes and reduces costs, making it ideal for cost-sensitive projects in regions with moderate temperature variations.

Applications

  • Energy-Efficient Buildings (e.g., offices, schools, hospitals):Offers moderate light transmittance and neutral tones, reducing lighting energy consumption and lowering summer air conditioning loads while maintaining natural daylighting.
  • Buildings in Mild Climates (e.g., temperate zone residences, commercial complexes):Outperforms standard glass with superior thermal efficiency (U-value), simplifying installation and reducing costs—ideal for façades or roofs.
  • Cost-Sensitive Projects (e.g., warehouses, factories):Requires no composite layers due to stable coating technology; a single-pane design delivers basic thermal insulation at economical prices.
  • Modern Architectural Design:Complements minimalist or organic aesthetics with low-saturation hues and slight haze, avoiding mirror-like reflections for passive energy efficiency.
Key Advantage: A cost-effective solution balancing mid-level solar control performance with functionality and budget considerations.(Adapted for Australian readers with concise phrasing, local technical terminology (e.g., “U-value”), and clear hierarchy.)
