Key Features

• Safety: When broken by external force, it forms small obtuse – angled particles (for 4mm – 12mm glass, there are ≥ 40 fragments), greatly reducing the risk of cuts.
• Impact Resistance: Its impact – resistant strength is 3 – 5 times that of ordinary glass, and its flexural strength is 4 – 5 times that of ordinary glass, making it suitable for withstanding accidental impacts.
• Thermal Stability: It can withstand a temperature difference of 200℃ (such as local exposure to sunlight or sudden cooling), and has excellent resistance to thermal cracking. (However, it cannot be directly used as fire – resistant glass.)
• Processing Limitations: Cutting and drilling must be completed before tempering. The finished product cannot be re – processed.
